Authors

All papers will be reviewed by a national program committee with appropriate expertise. I-HCI 2009 aims to be inclusive and will accept a broad range of research papers which are of a high quality to ensure a technically engaging program.

Paper Details

The ideal full paper (upto 8 pages) for i-HCI should provide novel HCI concepts, an insightful survey of existing work, introduce concrete, significant, transferable research based on the implementation and evaluation of a working system. A short paper (upto 4 pages) by contrast may report work in progress or an interesting idea that is not yet fully developed. It's important that submitted papers are of a length that is appropriate for their content. Some submitted short papers may be invited to expand upon the work into a full paper.

If you would like to present a paper at the conference, please submit initially a 1,000 word abstract. When making your submission, you should clearly indicate whether you  intend to submit a Full or Short paper.  Full technical papers should be at most, eight (8) 2-column pages long. Short technical papers and Student papers should be, at most, four (4) 2-column pages long. Plese follow the formatting instructions below.

Paper Format and Submission

Papers must be formatted according to the ACM SIG proceedings template, and submitted as PDF files though the paper submission system. All accepted papers will be contained in the conference proceedings which will be published with an ISBN.
